Be the captain of your ship and enjoy a fantastic day with your family or friends with this self-drive boat hire on the beautiful Wallis Lake in Forster. Before departure, take part in a safety briefing to familiarise yourself with the pontoon boat before being supplied with a detailed map as you set off on your eight hour adventure.

Take yourself and your mates around the waterways, in and out of the many islands, and through the working oyster farms. You might even be fortunate enough to see a school of dolphins on your travels. If you fancy a spot of fishing you can cast lines in search of bream, flathead, or whiting with the fresh live worms sold at the shop or you can simply sit back and enjoy the serenity.

Feel free to bring your own food and drinks to take advantage of the BBQ facilities aboard this pontoon boat. This is a trip best enjoyed in the company of good friends and pets are also welcome.

  • This experience is eight hours in duration, strictly from 8.30am to 4.30pm. No variation of hire times can be made due to late departure unless specific arrangements have been made with the management of Blue Peter Boatshed. Late return fee applies.

  • Cleaning fees, repair or replacement fees to cover damage/loss of equipment and on the return of equipment and late fees may be charged. Blue Peter Boatshed may charge for a boat needing to be collected from a location other than the hire location.

Cancellation Policy
  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals without notice or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
