Great attraction for a day, when the weather is good.
This was our second time to this island. Both times the weather was amazing. Went there last week of August and first week of September. We loved the beach and water. The only cons were bad food at the resort cafe, the fish in fish & chips was tough like a thong / also known as a jandal :) The garden salad had only two ingredients: 99% iceberg lettuce and 1% grated carrot. We didn’t like having to pay $45 for using two sun beds on the beach. Nevertheless, we would still go there again :).

Did not disappoint. Plenty of information of where you're able to snorkel.
We signed up last minute to do the snorkel tour as we wanted to guarantee we saw the most we could. This was not disappointing. We were taken out to the far reefs and given an hour to snorkel around at our own pace. Plenty of staff around, should you need help. The transfer from Cairns to Green Island and back was comfortable, onboard snacks and bar and overall a great experience.

Perfect runaway island to escape to, professional & friendly staff. Not much variety of food though.
It was such a great island to runaway to! Love how secluded and peaceful it was. The current of the waters were strong when we were there but the staff still made sure it was still worth a trip to snorkel as she pointed out where there were. In the whole trip, we saw a decent number of all range of sea creatures up close! - sharks, turtles and clownfishes!
