After being collected from the Adelaide CBD you'll hit the road for the Fleurieu Peninsula. En route, there will be a leg stretch in the historic town of Strathalbyn, where you can admire green parks and the river or invest in a quick refuel from a local coffee shop. Then it's on to Goolwa, where beginner-friendly waves and qualified instructors will keep you entertained for the morning. Expect an introduction to beach safety followed by a surfing lesson giving complete with all the tips and tricks to get you standing.
With all that energy burned you'll be ready to taste the Fleurieu. First off it's an included lunch at a Goolwa café, where you can sample local produce while soaking up views of the river. Next, you have the chance to devour well-deserved cheese and wine, hopping around the wine region of Langhorne Creek. You'll stop to appreciate the architecturally designed cellar door of Kimbolton Winery, made from recycled shipping containers, before taking a final stop at the 1850 winery of Bleasdale winery where delicious wine comes paired with a hit of history. Then it's back home to Adelaide feeling full and fulfilled.
